Subterranean Termites close to home Chiefland, Florida

Levy County fire ants are going to eat these termites but we should still spray.

We are out here doing a pest control maintenance call in Chiefland, Florida. This is Robert with Turbo Pest Solutions. Uh they are currently in the process of moving. We’re going to go ahead and see. We see there’s a wooden structure. And then this is how close these guys can be. That is a subterranean termite going back into the hole. Pulled it earlier. There’s a little bit more. But these are some of the things that we have to keep a lookout for. How close? Look in the middle of the ant colony. He’s not going to make it. Most of these fire ants are going to eat these termites. Sometimes they compete for certain areas. But this will give you an idea of how close they could be to our house. How termite eating things could be. Look at all these termites coexisting with some ants over here. These are all subterranean. Give you an idea how close it is to the structure. It’s going to be drawing them in but this paints a small picture.
